What material are the splitters made of?
All Composite splitters are made using RTM Composite, which is a manufacturing technique involving several materials such as fiberglass molded that are heated in a high compression press. The result is a component that is rigid and durable–More so than traditional hand-laid fiberglass.
How is the Five1 Splitter installed? Is drilling required?
The Five1 will require additional drilling as rivets are used to secure the components to the car; however, existing factory mounting points / hardware are reused for additional support. The use of two-way tape is not recommended.
What is Carbon Flash Metallic Black
Carbon Flash Metallic Black is the paint finish used by GM on all the accent pieces for the C7 Corvette such as the fender inserts, rear diffuser, front grill, and upper quarter scoops.
What is the difference between the Five1 splitter and the other choices?
The Five1 is a unique design created by designers. It is great for those seeking a look different than the traditional Z06 appearance. Its main function is its elevated ground clearance, which means it is ideal for those that worry about scraping the front splitter. It is great for steep driveways and inclines.
Do I need the central bridge and deflectors?
They are not required, but they were designed to complement the splitter, and complete its look! Note: Adding the central bridge will remove the benefits of the added ground clearance on the splitter since it is filling in the gap.
Are these items in stock? When can I expect delivery?
Generally, we keep stock of all our products; however, in the event of a back order you will be notified with an estimated time (Typically, less than two weeks). Transit times vary on location, but 3-5 business is the standard time (delays due to customs are out of our control).
